In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Ballston Spa Scotties volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Troy Flying Horses.

The Scotties (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Spartans come into the Section 2 Suburban - Grey challenge with a 23-4 record. In their last test, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake gained a win over Galway (Galway, NY), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Flying Horses now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albany for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Troy will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Columbia (East Greenbush, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 6-4.
