The Middle Creek Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Cary Academy Chargers to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now have a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Felton Grove for a Triangle Six 6A/7A outing on Thursday, October 2. Middle Creek will play a Galaxy team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC). The Galaxy record now stands at 4-13.

With the loss, Cary Academy drops to 5-10 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to St. Mary's (Raleigh, NC) to play the Saints in a NCISAA Triangle Independent outing on Monday, October 6. The Saints come into the outing with a record of 4-10. St. Mary's won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Grace Christian (Sanford, NC)
