The Hinsdale South Hornets volleyball squad (Darien, IL), dropped 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL)

With the win, Providence Catholic improves its record to 19-2 on the season. The Celtics travel to DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL) to encounter the Rams in a Girls Catholic (GCAC) battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 23-3. DePaul College Prep won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Carmel (Mundelein, IL)

Next, the Hornets battle the Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) in a West Suburban- Gold contest, on Tuesday, October 7. Hinsdale South will attempt to move on its 13-15 season record.
