Washington High School Volleyball - Ilwaco overwhelmed by Hoquiam
October 1, 2025: Hoquiam, WA 98550 Hoquiam Grizzlies (Hoquiam, WA) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Ilwaco Fishermen (Ilwaco, WA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Grizzlies (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Tenino (Tenino, WA). The Beavers come into the 1A Evergreen challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Tenino beat Elma (Elma, WA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Fishermen play the Forks Spartans (Forks, WA) in a 2B Pacific challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Ilwaco will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Chief Leschi (Puyallup, WA).
