In Wednesday's non-league match, the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) volleyball team knocked off the host Kenston Forest Kavaliers (Blackstone, VA), by a margin of 3-0.

The Gryphons now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Miller School of Albemarle for a VISAA Division 3 bout on Tuesday, October 7.

With the loss, Kenston Forest drops to 5-10 on the campaign. The Kavaliers host Tidewater Academy (Wakefield, VA) to clash with the Warriors in a Virginia Colonial bout on Tuesday, October 7. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-11.
