The Nonnewaug Chiefs topped the host Newington Nor'easters volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Chiefs face the Lakeview Bobcats (Litchfield, CT) in a Berkshire outing, on Thursday, October 2. Nonnewaug will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the outing with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT).

With the loss, Newington drops to 2-10 on the campaign. The Nor'easters host Berlin (Berlin, CT) to play the Redcoats in a Central Connecticut - South outing on Friday, October 3.
