New York High School Soccer - Amsterdam nudges Oppenheim-Ephratah
October 10, 2022: St. Johnsville, NY 13452 Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Oppenheim-Ephratah Hawks (St. Johnsville, NY), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams confront the Schuylerville Horses (Schuylerville, NY) in a Foothills Council- North challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Amsterdam will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Horses enter the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Lake George (Lake George, NY).
The Hawks now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Canajoharie for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 12. Oppenheim-Ephratah will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Berne-Knox-Westerlo (Berne, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 5-9.
