October 10, 2022: Shelby, NC 28152 The crowd at Monday's league test between the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) and the host Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC), saw Ashbrook's soccer squad get by Crest by a margin of 1-0.
The Greenwave now sport a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Forestview for a Big South 3A test on Wednesday, October 12. Ashbrook will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-1.
With the loss, Crest drops to 0-17 on the campaign. The Chargers host Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to play the Storm in a Big South 3A outing on Wednesday, October 12. The Storm go into the outing with a record of 7-7. Stuart W. Cramer lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against South Point (Belmont, NC)
