The Hand Tigers topped the visiting Norwich Free Academy Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lauralton Hall for a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset test on Tuesday, October 11. Hand will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-2.
The Wildcats (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Centaurs enter the Eastern Connecticut - Large test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Woodstock Academy gained a win over Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT), 3-2, in a non-league test.
