Virginia High School Volleyball - Manchester tips J.R. Tucker
October 10, 2022: Henrico, VA 23294 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) and the host J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA), saw Manchester's volleyball squad nip J.R. Tucker by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Manchester upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Lancers travel to Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a Dominion bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Clover Hill won 3-0 in their recent league bout against L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA)
The Tigers now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Freeman for a Colonial bout on Tuesday, October 11. J.R. Tucker will play a Mavericks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-9.
