In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Pawnee City Indians volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Tri County Trojans.

The Indians (7-19) will now prepare for their battle against Sacred Heart (Falls City, NE). The Irish come into the non-league battle with a 20-6 record. In their last battle, Sacred Heart nudged Sterling (Sterling, NE), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Sterling Jets (Sterling, NE) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 18. Tri County will attempt to advance on its 8-15 season record. The Jets come into the battle with a 11-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Pawnee City (Pawnee City, NE).
