Ohio High School Soccer - Lakeside knocks off Brooklyn
October 10, 2023: Ashtabula, OH 44004 Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Brooklyn Hurricanes (Brooklyn, OH), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Dragons face the Laurel Gators (Shaker Heights, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 12. Lakeside will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 0-0 non-league Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH).
The Hurricanes now have a 0-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Andrews Osborne Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 14. Brooklyn will face a Phoenix team coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Independence (Independence, OH). The Phoenix record now stands at 1-7.
