October 10, 2023: Storrs, CT 06268 Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Edwin O. Smith Panthers (Storrs, CT), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Highlanders face the Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Portland will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Noises enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Putnam (Putnam, CT).
The Panthers now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Plainville for a Central Connecticut - Central challenge on Wednesday, October 11. Edwin O.
