October 10, 2023: Coquille, OR 97423 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Coquille Red Devils (Coquille, OR) and the visiting Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR), saw Coquille's volleyball squad beat Douglas by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Coquille upgrades its record to 13-7 on the year. The Red Devils host Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR) to play the Bruins in a 3A Far West bout on Thursday, October 12. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 1-17. Brookings-Harbor lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR)
The Trojans now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Glide for a 3A Far West bout on Thursday, October 12. Douglas will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Mary's (Medford, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-11.
