October 10, 2023: Coventry, RI 02816 Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Oakers clash with the Classical Purples (Providence, RI) in a Division 1 - B match, on Thursday, October 12. Coventry will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Purples come into the match with a 4-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West Warwick (West Warwick, RI).
With the loss, South Kingstown drops to 6-5 on the campaign. The Rebels host Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI) to clash with the Patriots in a Division 1 - A match on Thursday, October 12.
