North Carolina High School Volleyball - Wilkes Central nudged by East Wilkes
October 10, 2023: Wilkesboro, NC 28697 The East Wilkes Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Wilkes Central Eagles to 2 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now possess a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Starmount for a Northwest 1A game on Thursday, October 12. East Wilkes will meet a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Rams record now stands at 1-17.
The Eagles (6-16) will now prepare for their game against Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Falcons enter the Foothills 2A game with a 11-7 record. In their last game, Forbush was nudged by North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 3-1, in a league game.
