Massachusetts High School Football - Lexington can't hold off Belmont
October 10, 2024: Lexington, MA 02421 Belmont Marauders (Belmont, MA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA), 9-6 in a league battle.
With the win, Belmont improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Marauders host Arlington (Arlington, MA) to play the Spy Ponders in a Middlesex - Liberty battle on Friday, October 18. The Spy Ponders go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Arlington lost 35-21 in their recent league battle against Reading Memorial (Reading, MA)
The Minutemen now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Woburn Memorial for a Middlesex - Liberty battle on Friday, October 18. Lexington will play a Tanners team coming off a 35-6 non-league loss to Melrose (Melrose, MA). The Tanners record now stands at 2-3.
