October 10, 2024: Blackwell, OK 74631 The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Chisholm Longhorns (Enid, OK) and the host Blackwell Maroons (Blackwell, OK), witnessed Chisholm's football squad wallop Blackwell by a count of 49-6.
The Longhorns (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jones (Jones, OK). The Longhorns enter the 2A-I District 1 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Jones crushed Crooked Oak (Oklahoma City, OK), 49-0, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Maroons confront the Crooked Oak Ruf-Nex (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 2A-I District 1 contest, on Thursday, October 17. Blackwell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Ruf-Nex enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 49-0 league loss to Jones (Jones, OK).
