Virginia High School Football - Briar Woods tops Riverside

October 10, 2024: Leesburg, VA 20176

The Briar Woods Falcons football squad scored 31 points and limited the host Riverside Ram to 21 in the Falcons league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Potomac Falls for a Potomac test on Friday, October 18. Briar Woods will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 37-0 league loss to Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Riverside drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Ram travel to Independence (Ashburn, VA) to meet the in a Potomac test on Friday, October 18. The come into the test with a record of 3-3. Independence won 37-31 in their recent league test against Lightridge (Aldie, VA)
