Rhode Island High School Football - Mt. Hope tops Chariho

October 10, 2024: Bristol, RI 02809

The Mt. Hope Huskies football squad scored 33 points and limited the visiting Chariho Chargers to 7 in the Huskies league triumph on Thursday.

The Huskies now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Stafford/Somers/East Windsor for a Pequot - Uncas test on Friday, October 18. Mt. Hope will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Rockville (Vernon, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Chariho drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Chargers host North Providence (North Providence, RI) to meet the Cougars in a Division III test on Friday, October 18. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-2. North Providence lost 41-35 in their recent league test against Rogers (Newport, RI)
