In Thursday's league match, the host Collins Hill Eagles football squad scored a close 13-12 victory over the Mill Creek Hawks.

The Eagles (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Falcons enter the AAAAAA Region 8 match with a 2-5 record.

Coming up next, the Hawks confront the Discovery Titans (Lawrenceville, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 8 match, on Friday, October 18. Mill Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 0-7 record after their 31-0 league loss to Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA).
