In Thursday's league match, the host Cypress Ranch Mustangs football squad scored a good 38-21 triumph over the Waller Bulldogs.

The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX). The Spartans come into the 6A Region II District 16 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Cypress Lakes was beaten by Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX), 21-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 match, on Friday, October 18. Waller will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Bears come into the match with a 5-1 record after their 56-0 league win over Cypress Park (Cypress, TX).
