The Sherwood Warriors walloped the visiting Damascus Hornets football team by a score of 41-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 18. Sherwood will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 55-7 non-league loss to Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD).

The Hornets (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD). The Coyotes enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Clarksburg was ripped by Wootton (Rockville, MD), 17-13, in a league challenge.
