Virginia High School Football - Grundy winner over Twin Valley
October 10, 2024: Grundy, VA 24614 The Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) football knocked off the visiting Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA), 44-14 in Thursday's league outing.
The Golden Wave now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hurley for a Black Diamond test on Friday, October 18. Grundy will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 39-30 non-league loss to Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Twin Valley drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA) to meet the Bears in a non-league test on Monday, October 14. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-4. Bland County lost 63-0 in their recent non-league test against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA)
