The Rosa Fort Lions (Tunica, MS) football tipped the visiting Independence Wildcats (Independence, MS), 28-22 in Thursday's league outing.

The Lions now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holly Springs for a 3A Region 2 outing on Friday, October 18. Rosa Fort will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 49-20 non-league loss to Kossuth (Kossuth, MS). The Hawks record now stands at 3-5.
