October 10, 2024: Pine Ridge, SD 57770 Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Todd County Falcons (Mission, SD), 50-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Pine Ridge advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Thorpes travel to Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD) to play the Wambdi in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. The Wambdi go into the battle with a record of 3-4. Tiospa Zina won 44-14 in their recent league battle against Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD)
The Falcons now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Lower Brule for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. Todd County will play a Sioux team coming off a 78-0 league win over Crow Creek (Stephan, SD). The Sioux record now stands at 7-0.
