California High School Football - Madison can't hold off St. Augustine
October 10, 2024: San Diego, CA 92104 The St. Augustine Saints got by the visiting Madison Warhawks football team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Saints play the El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. St. Augustine will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Vaqueros go into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 41-20 non-league win over Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA).
The Warhawks (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Marauders go into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Mira Mesa nipped La Jolla (La Jolla, CA), 27-8, in a league challenge.
