The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Vernon Hills for a test on Friday, October 18. Niles North will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 21-0 league win over Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 5-3.
With the defeat, Maine East drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Blue demons travel to Highland Park (Highland Park, IL) to meet the Giants in a test on Thursday, October 17. The Giants come into the test with a record of 2-2.
