October 10, 2024: Anahuac, TX 77514 East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX), 29-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, East Chambers advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Buccaneers host Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX) to play the Trojans in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Coldspring-Oakhurst lost 42-16 in their recent non-league battle against Orangefield (Orangefield, TX)
The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Buna for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. Anahuac will play a Cougars team coming off a 25-0 non-league win over Hardin (Hardin, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
