October 10, 2024: Hudson, NC 28638 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) and the visiting Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), witnessed South Caldwell's football squad wallop Hibriten by a tally of 46-0.
The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Alexander Central crushed Freedom (Morganton, NC), 41-6, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Panthers battle the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 17. Hibriten will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Pioneers enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 35-14 non-league loss to North Davidson (Lexington, NC).
