October 10, 2024: Newton Grove, NC 28366 The South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) football knocked off the host Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 45-14 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Stallions now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Heide Trask for a outing on Thursday, October 17. South Columbus will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 2-0 league win over East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Titans record now stands at 5-2.
The Wildcats (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Leopards go into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Lakewood toppled North Duplin (Calypso, NC), 34-30, in a non-league challenge.
