In Thursday's non-league game, the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) football team triumphed over the visiting Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC), by a tally of 47-7.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 16. Middle Creek will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 20-7 league win over Apex Friendship (Apex, NC).
