The North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) football knocked off the host Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), 34-8 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Greyhounds now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Wilkes for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 17. North Surry will clash with a Blackhawks squad coming off a 40-0 non-league loss to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Blackhawks record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Surry Central drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Forbush (East Bend, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 17.
