The Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) football trounced the visiting Tivy Antlers (Kerrville, TX), 44-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alamo Heights for a outing on Thursday, October 17. Veterans Memorial will clash with a Mules squad coming off a 56-0 league win over Victoria West (Victoria, TX). The Mules record now stands at 7-0.

With the defeat, Tivy drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Antlers host McCollum (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Cowboys in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 17.
