October 10, 2024: Monument, CO 80132 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) and the host Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), saw Cheyenne Mountain's soccer squad hold off Palmer Ridge by a score of 2-1.
The Red-Tailed Hawks (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lutheran (Parker, CO). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Lutheran tipped Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bears confront the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 15. Palmer Ridge will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
