In Thursday's non-league match, the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers (Mobridge, SD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 12. Northwestern Area will attempt to move on its 23-5 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 16-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Groton (Groton, SD).
