The Adams Central Patriots (Hastings, NE) football knocked off the host Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE), 20-10 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln Christian for a C1 District 5 outing on Friday, October 17. Adams Central will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 48-0 league loss to Aurora (Aurora, NE). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-5.
