The Adams Highlanders got by the visiting Lake Orion Dragons football team by a score of 29-27 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders play the Seaholm Maples (Birmingham, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 17. Adams will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Maples enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 42-7 league win over Troy (Troy, MI).

The Dragons (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Park (Oak Park, MI). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Oak Park was nipped by North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI), 21-6, in a league outing.
