Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Albert Lea Tigers (Albert Lea, MN), 35-10 in a league match.

The Bluejays (7-0) will now prepare for their match against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN). The Eagles enter the Southeast Central - Red match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, New Ulm was beaten by St. Peter (St. Peter, MN), 24-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Belle Plaine Tigers (Belle Plaine, MN) in a Southeast Central - Red match, on Wednesday, October 15. Albert Lea will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 31-0 league win over Worthington (Worthington, MN).
