The Carl Hayden Community Falcons walloped the host Alhambra Lions football team by a score of 56-8 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons face the North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Copper Sky challenge, on Friday, October 17. Carl Hayden Community will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Rattlers go into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 47-7 league win over Washington (Phoenix, AZ).

The Lions (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ). The Panthers go into the 4A Copper Sky challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Maryvale triumphed over Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ), 35-22, in a league test.
