Arizona High School Football - Apollo sneaks past West Point

October 10, 2025: Glendale, AZ 85302

The Apollo Hawks football squad scored 44 points and limited the visiting West Point Dragons to 43 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yuma Catholic for a 5A Northwest challenge on Friday, October 17. Apollo will face a Shamrocks team coming off a 30-7 league win over Cactus (Glendale, AZ). The Shamrocks record now stands at 3-4.

The Dragons (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ). The Mustangs go into the 5A Northwest challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Sunrise Mountain nipped Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ), 40-0, in a league challenge.
