October 10, 2025: Summit, IL 60501 The Argo Argonauts football squad (Summit, IL), was trounced 48-0 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL)
The Astros (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Rams go into the South Suburban - Red bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, Reavis smashed Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL), 43-0, in a non-league bout.
The Argonauts now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Evergreen Park for a South Suburban - Red bout on Friday, October 17. Argo will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 40-6 league loss to Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-4.
