Missouri High School Football - East Newton defeats Aurora

October 10, 2025: Granby, MO 64844

In Friday's league match, the host East Newton Patriots football squad scored a good 47-21 victory over the Aurora Houn Dawgs.

The Patriots (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Seneca (Seneca, MO). The Indians enter the Big 8 match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Seneca thwarted McDonald County (Anderson, MO), 35-20, in a league battle.

The Houn Dawgs now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Lamar for a Big 8 battle on Friday, October 17. Aurora will play a Tigers team coming off a 27-24 league win over Monett (Monett, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 4-3.
