In Friday's non-league game, the Bayou Academy Colts (Cleveland, MS) football team edged the visiting Riverfield Academy Raiders (Rayville, LA), by a score of 21-14.

In their next game, the Colts face the Jackson Academy Raiders (Jackson, MS) in a MAIS 4A District 1 game, on Friday, October 24. Bayou Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
