In Friday's non-league outing, the Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) football squad tipped the visiting Monrovia Bulldogs (Monrovia, IN), by a margin of 31-26.

The Stars now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbus East for a Hoosier Hills outing on Friday, October 17. Bedford North Lawrence will clash with a Olympians squad coming off a 28-7 league win over Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN). The Olympians record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, Monrovia drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN) to clash with the Braves in a Hoosier Legends bout on Friday, October 17.
