Fallston Cougars (Fallston, MD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Bel Air Bobcats (Bel Air, MD), 21-15 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Fallston advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Cougars host Joppatowne (Joppa, MD) to confront the Mariners in a Class 2A1A North match on Thursday, October 16. The Mariners come into the match with a record of 4-2. Joppatowne won 34-20 in their recent league match against Rising Sun (North East, MD)

Coming up next, the Bobcats confront the Patterson Mill Huskies (Bel Air, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 17. Bel Air will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Huskies come into the match with a 2-4 record after their 49-14 non-league loss to Edgewood (Edgewood, MD).
