Bells Panthers (Bells, TX) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX), 42-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Bells advances its record to 2-5 on the season. The Panthers host Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX) to play the Tigers in a 3A-2 Region II District 7 battle on Friday, October 17. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Blue Ridge won 32-27 in their recent league battle against Leonard (Leonard, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Gunter for a 3A-2 Region II District 7 match on Friday, October 17. Howe will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 43-6 league win over Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
