In Friday's league match, the visiting Biglerville Canners football squad scored a good 31-6 triumph over the Hanover Nighthawks.

The Canners (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Littlestown (Littlestown, PA). The Thunderbolts come into the York-Adams 3 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Littlestown defeated Delone Catholic (McSherrystown, PA), 10-7, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Nighthawks meet the Bermudian Springs Eagles (York Springs, PA) in a York-Adams 3 match, on Friday, October 17. Hanover will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 5-3 record after their 35-14 league win over York Catholic (York, PA).
