The Cypress Christian Warriors felled the host Bishop Reicher Catholic Cougars football squad by a margin of 49-24 in Friday's non-league test.

The Warriors now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host McKinney Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, October 17. Cypress Christian will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 45-24 non-league win over Shelton (Dallas, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-1.

The Cougars (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart (Muenster, TX). The Tigers enter the TAPPS Division IV District 1 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart fell by Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX), 48-27, in a non-league challenge.
