In Friday's league match, the host Glades Central Raiders football squad scored a close 14-12 triumph over the Bishop Verot Vikings.

The Raiders (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Sebring (Sebring, FL). The Blue Streaks come into the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Sebring was nudged by Lakeland (Lakeland, FL), 34-7, in a league battle.
